A total of 21,577 residential permits were issued on the Spanish market in the first three months of the year, up 42.1 permit from the same period in 2015, according to data issued by the ministry of public works. Of the total number of permits issued between January and April, 15,843 were for apartment blocks, 5,730 were for single family homes, and four were for other types of buildings not intended for family housing.
