Residential sales on the Spanish market increased by 24.2 percent y-o-y in August, with a total of 29,369 deals reported, according to the National Statistics Institute. Sales increased by 13.9 percent in July and by 12 percent in the first eight months of this year. However, sales for new houses fell by 35.7 percent, while sales for old houses increased by 43.9 percent between January and August, according to the statistics.
