The Green City residential project, owned by the businessman Dumitru Bucsaru, is trying out a new method of payment for its clients, in which the developers exchange one of their new houses for an old apartment. In the two months since the option was announced, 37 units have been purchased, of which one-third were sold through an exchange of real estate.

Green City was built in a village situated a few kilometers south of Bucharest. With an area of 120 hectares, the developer has managed to complete about 700 new homes. Along with the houses, the project also offers a Mega Image supermarket, a kindergarten, restaurants, several playgrounds, biking and walking paths, and a fitness center.
