Sales of new flats in Bratislava jumped 20 percent y-o-y in the first quarter, with 814 units sold, writes Trend.sk, citing The Advisors. Miletičova 60 was the most successful project with 50 units taken, followed by Nobelova. The two projects boosted sales in Bratislava’s second and third districts. Extremely low mortgage interest rates increased demand, according to The Advisors, adding that demand for flats at any stage of construction remains strong as well as for units in projects that haven’t yet secured construction permits. Supply has also increased, with 2,654 units currently on the market, up by 400 y-o-y. The average price of flats that sold in Q1 was €133,000, while units on offer averaged €154,000.
