The retail sales volume in Hungary increased by 5.4 percent y-o-y, according to raw data, and by 5.3 percent, adjusted for calendar effects, according to the Central Statistical Office (KSH). Between January and July, the sales volume, according to both unadjusted as well as calendar adjusted data, was up 6.7 percent y-o-y. Adjusted food sales were up 4.1 percent, non-food sales increased 9.8 percent and fuel sales climbed 7.2 percent over the period, according to KSH.
