The retailers in the AFI Palace Cotroceni shopping center, owned by the Israeli-based AFI Europe, saw revenues increase over the first half of this year to €91m, a 9% increase compared with same period of the last year.
Calculated in RON, the retailers sales were up with 14 percent over the same last year period, said Israel Visel, the manager of AFI Palace Cotroceni.
He said the increase in sales was due to a substantial recovery in consumption earlier this year. National Institute of Statistics data showing an increase of 4.6 percent between 2012 January-May, following a long decline.
The shopping center was opened in November 2009 and after an investment of €300m.
