Revenues for transport, logistics hit HUF 1.24bn in Q2

Passenger transport, freight and logistic companies in Hungary reported a total of HUF 1.24bn in revenues in the second quarter of 2017, up 7.1 percent from the previous year, according to the Hungarian Central Statistical Office. Road haulage revenues climbed 6.5 percent to HUF 362bn during the period, while trucks and lorries accounted for about 67 percent of the sectorʼs total 14.9bn freight ton kilometers in Q2. Railways accounted for 18 percent, pipelines for 11 percent, and ships and barges for 3.7 percent, according to KSH.
