Revetas Capital, which specializes in the acquisition of distressed real estate assets, bought the Vitantis Shopping Center from Equest Balkan Properties (EBP). The deal, which was finalized at the end of June, also included a transfer of debts, reportedly amounting to more than €20m. Revetas Capital did not disclose the value of the transaction, but a recent market report from JLL puts the deal at €26m. The Bucharest mall has a lettable area of 11,362 sqm. Tenants include a Carrefour hypermarket. EBP, controlled by George Teleman, owns four office buildings, land and various logistics projects on the Romanian market.
