Lantian Development, headquartered in Bethesda, Maryland, has announced the appointment of Robert J. Elliott, Jr. as Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer. Prior to joining Lantian, Elliott served as Director of Development for Washington REIT. Over the past ten years, Elliott has been responsible for the development of more than two million square feet of commercial, multifamily and mixed-use development in the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area, with a value exceeding $1 billion. Elliott holds a Bachelor of Arts (Architecture) and a Bachelor of Architecture from Rice University, and a Master in Business Administration in Finance and Real Estate from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
