RockTech will invest EUR 400 million in a factory for electric car batteries components, where about 500 people will work.
“The EU will soon use large-scale electric cars. The unit in Romania will contribute to the EU’s efforts to achieve independence. The first converter is on the German-Polish border. The second one could be here. We’ve scanned several locations in recent months, and we’re grateful for the support we’ve received here, “said Dirk Harbecke, chairman of the RockTech Lithium board.
It is unknown at this time where the factory will be located and when the work starts.
