The average net wage in Romania fell by 1.1 percent m-o-m in May to RON 2,063, according to the National Statistics Institute.
The highest average wages were registered in the information technology service sector (RON5,421), while the lowest were reported in the hotel and restaurant sectors (RON1,248) for the month. Compared to May 2015, the country’s average net wage increased by 14.2 percent.
