The volume of construction works increased in June compared to May 2022 by 7.2 percent according to the data of the National Institute of Statistics.
According to the INS, in June, compared to May 2022, the increase is highlighted in new construction works (+9.4 percent), capital repair works (+6.3 percent) and current maintenance and repair works (+1 ,4 percent). On construction objects, there were increases in engineering construction works (+16.5 percent), non-residential buildings (+1.8 percent) and residential buildings (+0.3 percent).
In the first six months of the year, compared to the similar period in 2021, the volume of construction works increased by 4.3 percent. There were increases in current maintenance and repair works (+10.8 percent) and in new construction works (+3.2 percent). On construction objects, there were increases in non-residential buildings (+16.5 percent) and residential buildings (+6.3 percent).
