Nearly 476,000 sqm of industrial and logistics space was leased in Romania last year, according to a recent report published by JLL. The volume is down slightly from 2018’s total, which amount to 514,000 sqm in lease transactions for the sector. Bucharest drove demand, with approximately 360,000 sqm in lease deals signed in 2019, according to the JLL report. The capital’s performance was followed by Slatina which reported 62,000 sqm in lease transactions or 13 percent of the total.
