The job vacancy rate on the Romanian market increased to 1.34 percent in Q3, up 0.11 percent from the previous quarter, according to data published by the National Statistics Institute. The number of job vacancies jumped to 62,900 in the three-month period, up by 5,800 jobs compared to the previous quarter.
The biggest increases were reported in the manufacturing sectors with 1,900 job vacancies, health and social services respectively in administrative and support services, which have 1,200 job vacancies each. Compared with the same quarter of 2015, the job vacancy rate increased by 0.18 percent.
