Romania’s government is introducing new measures to fight tax evasion. Besides legislative measures, lawmakers are also setting up administrative reform measures.
The Financial Guard, the National Customs Authority and the Fight Against Fraud Department, for example, will be consolidated into a new institution that will control fraud and tax evasion within the country, said Finance Minister Daniel Chiţoiu.
