Romania tops EU’s economic growth charts

Romania GDP registered 3.7 percent growth over the first nine months of 2015. In the third quarter, GDP showed an increase of 3.6 percent compared to the same period of last year and an increase of 1.4 percent compared to the second quarter. The results makes Romania the EU’s top performer in terms of economic growth. Romania is followed by Poland and Slovakia, with a 0.9 percent growth and Spain with an increase of 0.8 percent.
