Dimitrios Sophocleous has been appointed general manager of the Romanian railways company CFR. Sophocleous has previously worked for Romtelecom and AD Pharma and was president of the administrative board for the real estate developer Impact.
New CFR board members were also recently appointed. They include Niels Schnecker, Lucian Isar, Cristian Ghibu and Sandu Danut. The president of the board is now Florin Kubinschi, vice president of Nextebank.
The Transport Ministry appointed a consortium made up of PwC-D&B David and Baias-George Butunoiu last year to recruit upper management for companies under its supervision.
