Romanian restaurant chain targets Bulgarian market

The Romanian restaurant chain Spartan plans to expand its operations into Bulgaria, with openings arriving before the end of the year. The company’s owner and entrepreneur Stefan Mandachi has set aside more than €700,000 in 2019 for the expansion of its restaurant chain. For the opening of each unit he estimates an investment of €125,000.
Currently Spartan has 43 restaurants plus one mobile location. Mandachi expects to open four new units in Romania. The company reported revenues of more than €11.4m in 2018.
