Kazanlak, a city located in Bulgaria’s Stara Zagora Province, is planning to open a museum dedicated to roses on Sunday. The museum will replace the city’s Rose Institute. Visitors will learn about the history of roses in Bulgaria starting with the Renaissance period.
The renovation of the museum building started in June 2015 and required an investment of €708,300, funded by the state and the city municipality.
