Rostelecom intends to sell the building of its headquarters in Moscow on Tverskaya Street to Investkapital. The building is a class B+ business center of class B + with a total area of 4,900 sqm on seven floors. Rostelecom put it up for sale in October 2015, and expects its to earn the company at least RUB 25bn. The sale is part of a program aimed at reducing the company’s operating costs that has netted Rostelecom RUB 6bn.The Board of Directors of Rostelecom also approved the creation of a special fund for the management of the company’s enormous portfolio of around 22,800 properties with a total area of more than 9 million square meters. The properties will be placed in a fund through which they will be redeveloped and repositioned.
