Roughly 30,000 homes added to Romania in 2016

This is expected to be a banner year for the Romanian housing market, with a record number of completions, according to Coldwell Banker Affiliates of Romania. A total of roughly 30,000 homes will be completed this year, according to the report, with 13,000 being added to the Bucharest market, up 20 percent from the previous year.

Cluj-Napoca, Constanta and Sibiu will each be adding 2,000 units to their housing supply. Coldwell Banker reports that there was about 9 percent more real estate transactions in the first nine months of this year than in 2015.
