25 October 2016

Round One, Japan’s leading family-friendly multi-entertainment activity complex, has signed a lease for its first entertainment center in New York City. The company has inked a deal for 45,000 sqf at Galleria at Crystal Run in Middletown. The Middletown center location will offer a mix of activities, such as karaoke, bowling, billiards, ping pong and darts, as well as a food and beverage area. Round One currently has 14 locations across the US in California, Illinois, Massachusetts, Texas and Washington, with three additional centers opening soon in Colorado, Georgia and Pennsylvania. RKF’s San Francisco office has worked with Round One on its entry into the US market since 2011 and represented the company during the leasing process. Round One is a $1 billion company that operates more than 100 locations in Japan totaling more than 28 million square feet at retail locations worldwide.

“Round One offers an entertainment experience for the whole family that rivals many regional amusement parks, but actively seeks out the best locations at shopping malls and regional retail centers to reach their target customers in each market,” said RKF Executive Vice President David Friedman.
