Residents from the Far East will be able to purchase air tickets at a special lower tariff. The Russian government approves allocation of RUB 5 bln (approx. EUR 54.5 mln) to subsidize flights for residents of the Far East. Thus, Residents of the region will be able to buy air tickets at a reduced rate to go on vacation, to visit relatives or for treatment in other regions., according to Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin. Russian president Vladimir Putin asked for “infrastructural stitching” of the vast territory of Russia and instructed to increase subsidies for regional air travel.
