Bratislava just got a bit easier to get to with the opening of Ryanair’s newest air base. The significance of the plan, announced last November, is that the carrier will station two airplanes in Bratislava making earlier flights to Europe possible. Ivan Trhlik said a carrier hasn’t had planes overnight in Bratislava since SkyEurope and that an increase in the number of passengers using the airport would see an improvement in 2015 that would be measured in the hundreds of thousands. The company is also expected to set up a new connection to Madrid from Bratislava.
