6 January 2015

Ryanair reported a 20-percent y-o-y boost in its December passenger volume with lower fares, additional routes and the company’s new “always getting better” customer service initiative attracting 1 million extra travelers. The Irish low-cost carrier saw 6.02 million passengers in December, compared to 5.02 million the previous year. The company’s shares increased 58 percent over the last 12 months, recovering from a fall in profits in 2013. Ryanair is expecting to bring in between €810m and €830m in profits for 2014, up from earlier estimates of €750m-€770m.
