Ryanair will launch 212 routes from Poland in the Winter season 2022, including 5 new ones, the carrier said. Ryanair transfers its growth to other cheaper airports in Poland and the EU and indicates that Modlin will lose 4 routes.
Ryanair, the largest Polish airline, launched today (September 6) its winter ’22 flight schedule from 13 Polish airports, adding 5 new routes (212 in total) to exciting winter holiday destinations such as Alicante, Brussels , Milan and Toulouse, it was announced.
The new destinations from Poland in the Ryanair Winter’22 timetable are: Kraków – Toulouse, Kraków – Poznań, Łódź – Alicante, Łódź – Milan, Łódź – Brussels, are listed in the information.
Ryanair shifts its growth to other cheaper airports in Poland and the EU. Modlin will lose 4 routes and will see a 10% decrease in traffic this winter, it also said.
“As we continue to expand in Poland, increasing the number of routes in Lodz and Krakow, and expanding our state-of-the-art maintenance facility in Wroclaw, we regret that Warsaw Modlin has rejected a long-term development agreement that will allow it to double its traffic and revenue with Ryanair. Ryanair is the only airline that can ensure rapid growth in traffic and capacity in Poland and throughout Europe with new, greener and cleaner B737 aircraft, which will be delivered in the next 4 years,” said Ryainair’s boss Michael O’Leary.
