Ryszard Krauze, one of Poland’s most Influential businessmen, is in talks to sell his controlling stake in the Polish developer Polnord. His company, Prokom Investments, just went public with news that it’s putting its 25.7-percent holding on the market. Talks with potential buyers are already underway, with Polish media speculating that the group of interested investors already includes several big names.
Prokom claims it has observed a significant increase in demand from investors looking to take over Polnord in recent years. The list of potential buyers reportedly includes investors and financial institutions focused on the real estate sector. “At this stage we can confirm several investors has already submitted their offers for the entire package,” says Marcin Dukaczewski, deputy CEO at Prokom Investments.
