Sales of new apartments in Tallinn exceed predictions

19 April 2018

Pindi Real estate agents have revealed that the company has sold over 850 new apartments in the first 3 months of 2018. Peep Sooman a partner of Pindi Kinnisvara stated that the result “is high even compared to the previous boom seasons.” This high demand for property shows no sign of decreasing as the city’s population continues to grow steadily. Recent government figures stated that over 6,000 people moved to Tallinn in 2017. Sooman went on to say that “about 2,500 new apartments are being sold in Tallinn and Harju County at the moment” and that most of the activity is taking place in new suburban developments, where costs run to less than €2,000 per sqm. However, prices continue to rise even in more expensive areas of the city, such as the city center.
