Ceramic tile producer Sanex is investing €1.4m to upgrade its plant in Cluj-Napoca. The project will be funded through the Norwegian Financial Mechanism 2009-2014. The company is planning to install an atomizer at the plant, which will help reduce gas consumption and protect the environment.
Sanex Romania was established in 1970. In 2004, the company was integrated into the portfolio of Lasselsberger, one of the largest manufacturers of ceramic tiles in Europe.
