16 June 2023

Panattoni has started the construction of Panattoni Park PoznaƄ East II with an area of approximately 35,000 square meters. The project will be financed by Santander Bank, allocating a sum of 18 million euros.

The PoznaƄ region has been a key logistics hub for years, consistently ranking in the top five markets with the largest volume of industrial space. At the end of 2022, Wielkopolska reached a total of 3.5 million square meters, with over 40% developed by Panattoni. The high demand for modern space provided by developers in the region drives further investments, and the enduring attractiveness of the market attracts financial institutions. A perfect example is Santander Bank allocating over 80 million PLN for the implementation of Panattoni Park PoznaƄ East II in Robakowo. Within the planned facility with an area of approximately 35,000 square meters, Geodis, a global leader in transportation and logistics, has already leased space and will commence operations in October of this year.

“The excellent location of PoznaƄ, halfway between two key economic centres in Europe – Warsaw and Berlin – attracts dozens of industries, including e-commerce and logistics. There is immense potential for businesses here, as well as a large area for further regional development, which attracts the attention of financial institutions seeking to invest in the region. We thank Santander Bank for their trust and fruitful cooperation. The interest in the new park already demonstrates that it is worthwhile to participate in its development,” says Karina TrojaƄska, Chief Financing & Operating Officer at Panattoni.

Panattoni Park East II attracts tenants with its high standards and Excellent-level environmental certification from BREEAM. The investment will be equipped with numerous ecological, biodiversity, and well-being solutions. Another strong advantage of the park is its location, providing easy access to the most important areas in Poland. Furthermore, it serves as an excellent distribution point towards Western Europe and Scandinavia. The facility is located near the A2 highway, and in close proximity, the investment site intersects with the S11 expressway (PoznaƄ Krzesiny junction), allowing travel from Silesia to Pomerania, as well as the S5 highway (PoznaƄ Wschód junction) connecting the capital of Wielkopolska with WrocƂaw in the south and Bydgoszcz in the north.
