Santander Bank Polska reached 1,032 settlements with CHF borrowers in Q3 2023 and a total of 8,407 such agreements, the bank said.
By 30/09/2023, the Group has reached 8,407 settlements both pre-court and after litigation, including 5,369 in 2023 and 1,032 in the third quarter of 2023, according to then banks report.
The settlements offered by Santander Bank Polska take into account both the conversion elements proposed by the chairman of the Financial Supervisory Commission (FSC) in 2020 and the bank’s own terms.
The costs of voluntary settlements with customers in CHF home loan cases amounted to PLN 302.2 million for the three quarters of 2023 and PLN 88.7 million for the three quarters of 2022, the bank announced.
