Sareb donating 200 flats to low income Barcelona families

18 December 2015

Sareb has presented 200 flats for use to the Town Hall of Barcelona, which will be allocated under the social housing regime which supports low-income families in their search for housing. Most of the flats are located in districts such as Nou Barris, Sant Andreu or Horta-Guinardó. Some of the apartments will be refurbished and need to be re-connected to the utility networks. The flats will be ceded for eight years. During this time the Town Hall will pay Sareb between €75 and €125 per month per unit. Tenants will be charged a nominal rent on the basis of their income.
