Two years after its creation, Sareb has moved away from its original strategy of selling large portfolios of land to developing such plots itself in order to benefit from the from the higher margins. Sareb is currently finalising an agreement in Andalucía with a local property developer, for which a cornerstone is due to be laid soon. Sareb hopes to develop other projects on land it owns in Madrid through similar co-investment arrangements.
