Saudi firm Somewhere Hotels invests in Greece and Europe

22 March 2016

The Saudi group Somewhere Hotels has entered Greece’s luxury hotel market, which also marks the group’s European debut. Somewhere Hotels, which has two hotels in Dubai and another pair in Saudi Arabia, is soon to open its fifth hotel in Vouliagmeni on the southern coast of Athens. The 5-star boutique hotel will operate under the Somewhere brand name and is due to open in April. It features 11 luxury suites and has been created through the renovation of an existing building.

Somewhere Hotels entered into the Greek hotel market last year after securing a majority stake in the company that owned the Eden Beach Resort complex. The resort will be renamed Somewhere in Eden, offering 250 rooms. Remodelling work should be completed in time for it to open for the summer season.
