A Swiss manufacturer of metal assemblies is set to open a production plant in Hrnici, near Prijedor, in Bosnia. The plant will operate under the name SB Laser. The mayor of Prijedor, Milenko Djakovic, and the director of SB Laser, Edhem Besic, signed a contract for financing the reconstruction of a public road as well as the construction of a transformer station, which are to cost an estimated €45,000. Prijedor will finance 40 percent, and SB Laser will cover 60 percent. Total project costs for the development of the plant are expected to hit CHF 2m. The company plans to hire 30 people.
