Schaeffler investing HUF 25bn in Debrecen plant

An affiliate of the Schaeffler Group is planning to invest HUF 25bn to expand its Hungarian plant in Debrecen. According to market sources, the Hungarian government will cover HUF 4.5bn of the project costs. The plant will be equipped with new technologies and will create 510 jobs. Completion is scheduled for the end of the year.
