The German tour operator Schauinsland-Reisen has acquired Hotel R2 Río Calma and the Maryvent apartment complex. Both properties are situated on Fuerteventura, the second largest of Spain’s Canary Islands. The group purchased a 100-percent stake in the four-star, 416-room Hotel R2 Río Calma and become the majority shareholder of the Maryvent apartment complex. The cost of the dael was not disclosed. In June, Schauinsland-Reisen bought its first hotel in Mallorca: the four-star Eva Park.
