The Bulgarian company Sea Garden Varna has begun reconstruction work on a 90-year old casino located in Varna, about 100 meters from the beach. The 1,655 sqm building was abandoned by its previous owners 25 years and the building now requires extensive repairs. The Varna Casino was acquired by Sea Garden Varna in 2015. The building is to be transformed in an a cultural and entertainment complex with a capacity of 1,000 guests.
The new building will be divided into several separate areas: wine area, art gallery, a two-storey restaurants, a rooftop café, indoor and outdoor playgrounds and a landscaped indoor garden. The reconstruction work is to be completed by the end of 2016 by Universal Story Consult.
