Echo Investment has begun sales of the second stage of the ZAM estate, a development being built near the Mateczny-Zdrój health resort in Krakow. This time, 100 comfortable apartments with varied layouts and square meters ranging from 26 to 94 sqm await future tenants. They will be built within a 15-minute bicycle ride to, among others, the Bednarski Park, the Wilga River Valley with the Wilga River Park or Zakrzówek, where a new swimming pool is planned to open next year.
In the first stage, two buildings of irregular construction with 115 apartments inside were built in the Podgórze area. Now the developer has received a permit for the construction of another building with a varied body complemented by glass balustrades. Construction has already started, and the keys to the units from the second stage of the project will be handed over to buyers in the third quarter of 2024.
“Podgórze is characterized by very good connections to other parts of the city, proximity to green areas and a wide range of retail and services. All this makes the Matecznego Roundabout area perceived by those looking for an apartment as one of the most attractive locations in Krakow. In addition, this is a district with fairly compact buildings, so the supply of new apartments here is very limited and does not meet demand. This can be seen from the interest in our investment and the success of the sale of the first stage, in which the last three apartments remain. Now we are expanding the selection by introducing the second stage of the ZAM estate,” says Dawid Wrona, director of apartment sales at Echo Investment.
ZAM, or otherwise known as ZAMieszkaj za Matecznym, is a housing development that combines the charms of living in a green area with the advantages of a city center location. The picturesque neighborhood of the Krakow investment can be admired, for example, during family walks or bike trips. Within the range of a few minutes’ trip on a bicycle there are, among others, the Vistula Boulevards, Mateczny Spa Park with a pump room, and Krakus Mound.
Among the low-rise developments, the developer has planned a number of Echo Life Services amenities. The common parts of the building and its surroundings will be equipped with touchless technologies enabling, for example, automatic release of the front door lock or summoning the elevator that will take you to the right floor. All you need to do is download a dedicated smartphone application. The second and final stage of the investment from Echo Investment also includes numerous spaces for spending free time surrounded by nature. A green terrace located on the roof will be prepared for the residents of the development, which will foster neighborly relations. Owners of electric cars, bicycles and scooters, meanwhile, will benefit from an external charger for such vehicles.
Buyers of apartments in the second stage of the ZAM project will also gain additional protection, as the development is subject to the provisions of the amended Development Act. It covers properties whose sales began after July 1, 2022. Among the benefits offered by the amendment are payment for the apartment upon physical completion of a given stage of the works, and new rules for accepting the premises and reporting defects. Ultimately, a total of 215 apartments will be built on the ZAM estate, and each of them will have a balcony, terrace or garden, and will be equipped free of charge with Echo Smart – the basic version of the smart apartment management system. Using a mobile app or voice command, residents will adjust lights to their current mood, remotely set the temperature or connect home appliances in an optimal way.
Echo Investment has been building in Krakow for more than two decades. The developer has completed nearly 20 investments in the Malopolska capital, of which as many as 14 were residential estates and apartment buildings, including Dom pod Wilgą, Apartamenty Go and Kościuszki Apartments. Currently, in addition to ZAM, Echo Investment is developing the Bonarka Living project in the Duchacki district of Podgórze, as well as the KRK estate being erected in the heart of Krakow’s Bronowice district.
