Segro acquired a 5.6 ha plot located in the industrial area of Martorelles near Barcelona for €10.4m. Segro was advised by Estrada & Partners. The acquisition is in line with the the company’s expansion plans for Spain. Segro plans to demolish the property’s existing industrial building and develop a new modern facility on the site. The company plans to focus on Barcelona and Madrid, where it intends to develop a number of high-quality storage spaces.
