The Olomouc factory of the British company Senior Flexonics, which produces flexible tubes for the automotive industry, saw its sales rise 13 percent to CZK 544 million last year from CZK 480 million in 2021, according to Senior Flexonics’ annual report.

Senior Flexonics reduced production of automotive parts by 121,336 units last year to 3,014,832 from 3,136,168 in 2021. The company exported the vast majority of its production abroad. Luxury cars such as Jaguar, Land Rover and Bentley are also equipped with pipes produced in Olomouc. The production of pipes for trucks and for domestic and industrial gas appliances was previously transferred to Olomouc from Germany.

In 2016, the management of the British company Senior Flexonics approved the construction of a production hall in the Olomouc industrial zone. The investment amounted to CZK 277 million and 20 jobs were created. “The completion of the new production hall has doubled the production capacity, which opens up opportunities for further growth of the company,” said the management of Senior Flexonics.

British Senior Flexonics built the factory in Olomouc in 2001. The company manufactures stainless steel piping for engine oil systems, air conditioning and refrigeration systems. Senior Flexonics Czech is part of the multinational Senior Group, which has three dozen branches in 14 countries. Last year, Senior Flexonics Czech alone employed 221 people.
