Sensata Technologies broke ground on a new 4,300 sqm plant in Botevgrad, western Bulgaria. The sensor systems manufacturer will invest $27m in the project and plans to employ 300 people at the facility. Sensata already has two Bulgarian production units located in Plovdiv and Botevgrad as well as a testing lab in Sofia. Sensata Technologies Bulgaria is a unit of Sensor-Nite, which is part of the US-based Sensata Technologies.
