Serb brokers seek tighter regulation of sector

The Serbian real estate grouping Klaster Nekretnine seeks changes to law on real estate brokerage services. Klaster Nekretnine, a group of of real estate brokerage companies, is seeking changes to the law on real estate brokerage services for Serbia. The state broadcaster RTS reports that the changes would include measure that would help reduce the number of unregistered workers in the sector and enable the introduction of fiduciary accounts that would not be subject to bankruptcy proceedings. The trade ministry, which is in charge of the sector, has promised to put forward changes to the law “by the end of the year,” according to the broadcaster.
