Serbia’s Economic Minister Dragan Stevanovic says the first 25 loans worth RSD 729m from the country’s Development Fund to support the liquidity of Serbian companies have been approved. The fund’s board of directors approved the first tranche of funds be distributed to 20 small and medium sized companies as well as to five entrepreneurs. Companies from the districts of South Backa, Novi Sad, applied for the grants along with companies from Belgrade, Raska, Rasinski, Nišavski, and elsewhere. The 25 chosen companies employ a total of 1,900 people.
