Serbia receives $142m from World Bank

The Serbian government secured three loan totaling $142m from the World Bank. The financing will go toward projects that support structural reforms and making the economy more competitive, including tax reforms, e-government systems and cross-border cooperation and trade. Serbian Finance Minister Sinisa Mali did not disclose the terms of the loan, saying only that “the amount is big but the conditions are very favorable.”
