At the end of October 2020, Serbia’s public debt amounted to 26.68 billion EUR, which is 56.9 percent of the gross domestic product, according to the data from report of the Ministry of Finance on macroeconomic trends. In nominal terms, the public debt increased by 80 million EUR compared to September, when it amounted to 26.60 billion EUR. The deficit of the republic budget of Serbia for the period January-October 2020 amounts to 347.6 billion RSD.
The projection of GDP growth of 6 percent next year is realistic and will be similar to the dynamics of GDP that Serbia have this year, said the governor of the National Bank of Serbia, Jorgovanka Tabakovic.
