Serbia to invest €1.9bn in infrastructure projects

The Serbian government plans to invest €1.9bn in 18 strategic infrastructure projects around the country, Jadranka Joksimovic, the minister responsible for European integration, told the National Investment Board this week. This projects will be financed by EU grants, concessional loans from international financial institutions, funds from other development partners, and the state budget.

The projects include the construction of facilities for wastewater treatment in Novi Sad, the modernization of the Corridor 10 railway in several sections and a water treatment plant in Nis, according to Joksimovic.
