A production plant of for the defense industry supplier Serbia Borbeni složeni sistemi has opened in Pljakovo near Kuršumlija. It’s the first phase of the construction of a metal machining factory, which is part of an €8.5m investment into construction and equipment. Construction on the facilities got underway last year in October. They are designed with a total area of 3,000 sqm to employ 80 people initially, but up to 300 workers will eventually be employed at the plant.
