Serbian new build price average for 2020 reached EUR 1,400 sqm

The average price of newly built apartments in Serbia last year was RSD 166,433, or about EUR 1,400 per sqm, which is an increase compared to 2019 of 1.8 percent, according to the latest data from the Republic Statistical Office.

Observed by municipalities, the highest prices of newly built apartments were recorded in Belgrade municipalities. In addition to the Belgrade municipalities, the tourist centers Cajetina and Vrnjacka Banja stood out at high prices, as well as the cities of Novi Sad, Uzice and Kragujevac, as well as three Nis municipalities (Mediana, the Red Cross and Palilula).

The area of newly built apartments sold in 2020 averaged 54 sqm.
