Servier planning to expand in Hungary

Jean-Philippe Seta, head of the French pharmaceuticals group Servier met with Prime Minister Viktor Orbán to discuss the company’s expansion plans for the country. Seta told Orbán that Servier would welcome the government’s efforts to encourage such future investments. Orbán said the country’s ties with Servier provide an excellent example of Hungarian-French economic cooperation and further cooperation should be pursued. Orbán added that there is potential for further government incentives in the research and development fields. Michel Eschenbrenner, the chief executive of the company’s Hungarian branch, Servier Hungaria, also attended the meeting between Orbán and Seta.
